Summary of Walk

On a pleasant morning at Lal Bagh, 16 enthusiastic participants gathered for a bird walk that began with cheerful ice-breaking introductions, where each shared their favorite bird. Led by the spirit of curiosity, the group explored how to identify birds by their calls, body shapes, and unique traits—interwoven with fun bird facts. A short 2-minute meditation session encouraged everyone to pause and simply listen to the symphony of bird calls and ambient sounds. A highlight of the walk was observing a Darter skillfully hunting a fish at the lake. The group then made its way to the iconic 3-billion-year-old rock formation—one of the world’s oldest—where a group photo was taken, capturing the joy of the experience amidst history and nature.
