Bird walk at Lingambudhi Lake, Kushagra Dev

Summary of Walk

An enthusiastic group gathered around Lingambudhi Lake, Mysuru’s oldest waterbody, to explore, and learn about the region;s avian life. The walk began with a chirpy round of introductions. During the walk, participants spotted over 32 bird species with memorable highlights of a Brahminy Kite dramatically diving to catch a fish, a Greater Cormorant securing its prey and a Peacock perched atop a tree, beautifully lit by the rising sun.
